Working towards a brighter future

It started with a vision to help people, communities and the planet. Our No Time To Waste mission has significantly reduced the amount of food and single-use waste produced to make a positive impact with our products. And our job is far from over. We’re constantly seeking innovative ways to replace the material that’s harming our environment.

Today, we’re taking bigger steps to ensure waste reduction at every part of our product’s lifecycle. And we really mean each step: design, manufacturing, distribution, consumption and recycling. We’ll settle for nothing less than the best in each one.

Pro tip: BYOT - bring your own Tupperware when you’re on the move. Transport your lunch from home in the Eco+ Oyster Set and snack directly from your containers.

Eco+ meets world

Our revolutionary Eco+ material is a gamechanger when it comes to Tupperware’s line of eco-conscious products. Since 2019’s introduction of our Eco+ Straw, we’ve been bringing this innovative material into homes across the world. By using single-use plastic waste, breaking it down, and recreating it into high-quality, stylish and durable new products, we’re addressing the single-use plastic waste crisis one Tumbler, Straw, and Coffee Cup at a time.

A cool new addition to the range is our Eco+ Bottle – meaning that a cold, sustainable sip of your favourite chilled drink will always be at hand.

We’re even enhancing our return process, working towards our big goal of achieving at least 90% of returned products to be recycled and repurposed by 2025. Also by this year, all Tupperware products will be delivered to consumers only in packaging that is compostable or biodegradable. Seriously – it’s time to wave goodbye to poly bags!

Pro Tip: Avoid disposable cutlery and use our On the Go Cutlery Set so you can munch whenever and wherever the munchies call.

So what things exactly can you slot into your day-to-day lives? Check out this gorgeously green line-up that will have the earth smiling.

  • Eco+ Coffee to Go Cup: Your daily caffeine fixes will taste all the better knowing that every sip is from responsibly made materials that can feature daily in your life.
  • Eco+ Tumblers and Straws: These sustainable straws matched with the trendy drinking tumbler are quite the cute pair.
  • Eco+ Sandwich Keeper: Your lunch will stay fresh in this perfectly shaped box. Pop it in your handbag, backpack or the kids’ school bags to ensure it doesn’t end up a soggy, squashed mess by lunch.
  • Cassava Bag: Prepare for magic to unfold before your eyes – submerge this little wonder in hot water after it’s been fully used and it will immediately dissolve (in cold water, within a few days). Alternatively you can put it in your compost bin, and if the bag somehow did find its way into the ocean, nothing will be harmed thanks to its disappearing act.
  • Reusable Bag: Replace plastic bags forever! What’s more, you can pack all of the above into this portable saviour. ;)

Pro Tip: Get into a real ‘recycle and reuse’ mindset. If you do wind up using or coming into contact with single-use plastic, reuse wherever possible to circumvent it from going from packaging to trash in two seconds flat.

If you’re feeling inspired by eco-friendly products and want to replace single-use plastic in your life with reusable options, delve into our Eco+ Coffee to Go Cups feature to discover more about our pretty, sustainable cups, and how your morning coffee simply doesn’t need to put more strain on the environment.
